नोना कोइराला, लामो समय नेपाली कांग्रेसको केन्द्रीय सदस्य रहिन । कोइराला परिवारको वुहारीका रुपमा मात्र चिन्न हो भने उनी माथि अन्याय हुने छ । नोना, प्रजातान्त्रिक आन्दोलनकी एक क्रान्तिकारी यौद्धा हुन्, जसले २००७ सालको क्रान्ति हुदै २०६३–०६३ को जनआन्दोलनसम्म आई पुग्दा ठूलो जोखिम उठाएकी थिइन , पिताजी कृष्णप्रसाद कोइरालाका पाँच मध्ये तीन छोरा प्रधानमन्त्री (मातृका, बीपी र गिरिजा ) बने । नोना पिताजीका साइला छोरा केशवप्रसाद कोइरालाकी धर्म पत्नी र कांग्रेस नेता डा. शेखर कोइरालाकी आमा हुन् । २०६३ माघ १४ गते नोनाको निधन भएको थियो । नोनाको स्मृति दिवसको अवसरमा पत्रकार जगत नेपालद्धारा लिखित पूर्व प्रधानमन्त्री गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइरालाको जीवनी ‘आफ्नै कुरा’बाट यो प्रसंग साभार गरिएको हो ।
केशबकासाथ नोना
नेपालमा भएका प्रजातान्त्रिक क्रान्तिहरुमा नोना भाउजुको अहं भूमिका थियो । पञ्चायत विरुद्ध नेपाली कांग्रेसले चलाएको तेस्रो शसस्त्र क्रान्तिका (२०२८–२०३१) क्रममा उहाँसंग हतियार किन्न जाँदाको एउटा घटना म कहिल्यै भूल्न सक्दिन । श्रोत मार्फत सिलगुढीमा हतियार पाइन्छ भनेर हामी त्यहाँ गयौं । हतियार किन्यौ । त्यसलाई हाम्रो कार्यालय फारवेशगञ्ज (पूर्णिया, विहार) पु-याउने कसरी ? मैले भने –भाउजु यसो गरौ, रिभल्वर र पिस्तोलहरु तपाईको जीउ, हात र खुट्टामा टेपले टाँसी दिन्छु । अनि लिएर जाँउ । २५ वटा हतियार भाउजुको जिउमा टाँस्यौ । स्टेनगन पनि ओढ्ने ओढेर जिउमा तपाई नै लिनुस् भने मैले । स्टेनगन पनि उहाँले लिनु भयो । मेरो हातमा त केही छैन । उहाँलाई त्यो बेला दःख कति भयो होला भन्ने सम्झन्छु आज पनि म ।
त्यसपछि फर्किने भनेर हामीहरु हिड्यौं । एउटा गाडीमा पछाडी टन्न गोलीको बक्सा छ । हाम्रो सुरक्षार्थ खटिएका प्रहरीहरु पछाडी नै छन् । बंगाल पुगेपछि त्यहाँको प्रहरीले हाम्रो स्कटिङ्ग ग-यो । विहार र वंगालको सिमा नजिक पुगे पछि मैले विहार तर्फको क्षेत्र नियालेर हेरे । पुलिसहरुको हुल छ । भाउजु हेर्नुस् त भने । उहाँले भन्नुभयो –के गर्ने ? मैले भने—केही गर्ने कुरै छैन । अब जे हुन्छ, जाने । हेरौं अब जे हुन्छ, हुन्छ । विस्तारै गयौ । के हुन्छ भनेर मनमा घवडाहट भैरहेको थियो । त्यत्रो हतियार लिएर हिडिरहका छौं । नजिकै पुगे पछि यसो हेरेर अफिसरले भन्यो— अरे गिरिजावावु । चिनेको प्रहरी अफिसर रहेछ । छोरीको विवाहमा २ मसंग वटा गाडी एक हप्ताका लागि मागेको थियो । मैले एउटा कार र जीप दिएको थिए । हुन्छ प्रयोग गर छोरीको विवाहमा भनेर । कहाँ से आ रहे है गिरिजावावु भनेर सोध्यो । मैले भने सिलगुढी से । क्या वात है इतने प्रहरीले कर वैठे है भने मैले । उसले भन्यो–कोही इसी रास्ते से स्मगलिङ्ग करके हथियार ले जा रहा है । हम उसके तलास मे वैठे है । यहाँपर । अच्छा जाईए । अब हम तो यही रहेङ्गे भनेर छोडि दियो मलाई । छोरीको विवाहमा गाडी दिएका कारण उसले छोडेको होला भन्ने लाग्छ मलाई । हामी फरवेशगञ्ज तिर लाग्यौं । बंगालको प्रहरीले विहारको प्रहरीलाई हाम्रो सुरक्षा जिम्मा लगाएर फर्किनु पर्ने । अगाडी पछाडी एक एक वटा गाडीले हाम्रो स्कटिङ्ग गरेको थियो ।
दशैं, दुर्गाको पूजाको दिन थियो । बंगालको प्रहरी अफिसर भन्दै थियो–आज दुर्गा पूजाको दिन हो, तपाईलाई पु-याउने बित्तिकै फर्किन्छौ । विहारको पुलिसलाई उसले हाम्रो सुरक्षा हस्तान्तरण गर्ने बेलामा विहार प्रहरीले खानतलासी लिनु पर्छ भनि दियो वा । अह खानतलासी गर्न दिन्न । हामीले सुरक्षा दिएर ल्याएको किन तलासी गर्नु प-यो । हामी तलासी गर्न दिन्नौ भन्यो बंगाल प्रहरीले । अव २ प्रदेशका प्रहरीको त्यहाँ झगडा परिरहेको थियो । मोटर त्यही छोडेर हामी कोठा तिर लाग्यौं ।
नोना भाउजुलाई बल्ल बल्ल कोठामा ल्याए । उनीहरुको झगडा भैरहेको छ । भाउजुसंग भएको हतियार त ल्यायौ तर गाडी बाहिर छ । गोलीहरु बाकसमा छन् । ल्याउनु पर्ने । गाडी तलासी गर्छु भन्छ । हामी घर पुग्दा समेत विहार र वंगालका प्रहरीबीच चर्काचर्की भैरहेको छ । गाडी तलास गर्न खोज्ने र नदिने विषयमा । हामी त आई हाल्यौ । अव के हुने हो । गोली समातियो भने वर्वाद हुन्छ । रामबहादुरजी हाम्रो कार्यालय सचिव हुनुहुन्थ्यो । एकदमै क्रान्तिकारी हुनुहुन्थ्यो । उहाँकै जिम्मामा थियो फारवेशगञ्ज अफिस ।
डीआईजी वा कस कसलाई फोन गरियो भूलि सके । अन्तमा हाम्रो गाडी जाँच नगर्नु भन्ने भयो । त्यस पछि मात्र विहार प्रहरीले गाडी छोडे । अनि मात्र नोना भाउजुको शरिरमा टाँसेर राखेका रिभल्वर निकाल्नु प-यो । कसरी निकाल्ने । मैले निकाल्न खोजे तर सकिन । रामबहादुरलाई निकाल्न भने बडो मुस्किलले निकालियो । हतियार टाँस्दा लगाइएको टेप निकाल्दा रौं तानिएर नोना भाउजुको जीउमा घाउ समेत लाग्यो । २५ वटा हतियार निकाल्दासम्म त उहाँ विरामी नै हुनु भयो । डाक्टरले सुई लगाए । एन्टिवायोटिक औषधी दिए । अनि ठिक भयो ।
