२०४६ को जनआन्दोलनपछि अन्तरिम सरकारको प्रधानमन्त्री भएका र २०५६ को आम चुनावमा जनताबाट चुनिएका प्रधानमन्त्री कृष्णप्रसाद भट्टराई राजनीतिमा सादगी र इमान्दारीताका लागि नमुना नै हुन् । जो प्रधानमन्त्री भएका बखत शनिवार सरकारी मोटर समेत चढ्दैनथे ।
फागुन २०, पूर्व प्रधानमन्त्री कृष्णप्रसाद भट्टराईको निधन भएको दिन । मानिसहरु भन्छन्, जोगी हुन पनि कसैले राजनीति गर्छ ? तर नेपालमा यस्ता प्रधानमन्त्री पनि थिए जोसंग सम्पत्तिका नाममा केही पनि थिएन । २०४६ को जनआन्दोलनपछि अन्तरिम सरकारको प्रधानमन्त्री भएका र २०५६ को आम चुनावमा जनताबाट चुनिएका प्रधानमन्त्री कृष्णप्रसाद भट्टराई राजनीतिमा सादगी र इमान्दारीताका लागि नमुना नै हुन् । प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यकालभर शनिवार उनले सरकारी मोटर समेत चढेनन् ।
एउटा छाता, पानी खाने माटाको सुराही र किताव राख्ने टिनको बाकस लिएर प्रधानमन्त्रीका रुपमा बालुवाटार छिरेका भट्टराई कार्यकाल सकिएपछि तिनै समाना लिएर फर्किएका थिए ।
एक दिन प्रधानमन्त्री भट्टराईलाई वोकेर आएका ट्याक्सी चालक धुरु धुरु रोए । हाम्रो देशमा यस्ता पनि प्रधानमन्त्री रहेछन् । आज मेरो ट्याक्सी चढे भन्दै ।
उनै प्रधानमन्त्रीका भतिजा डा.विनोदकुमार भट्टराईको अनुभव भिडियोमा ।
